Storage recommendation: 

Dry product may be stored at room temperature, in refrigerator, or in freezer at least until the code date on the package.     

Prepared product should be consumed within 2-3 days if stored in refrigerator.  Otherwise suggest putting in freezer depending on type of food prepared.

How can I be sure it is gluten free?   

Certified Gluten Free by the Celiac Support Association to be 5 ppm. It is produced in a gluten free environment on a dedicated line. Batches are tested used Elisa Gluten Assay test.



Is it considered whole grain? 

Yes



How do I store finished GF products?Should I freeze or refrigerate them to keep them from drying out? 

Refrigerate no longer than 2 days. Suggested method is freezing leftovers.



Can egg substitutes (egg whites, milled flaxseed) be used in place of an egg with GF recipes?  Substitute no more than one egg.



Can you fry with it? 

Yes, both pan and oven but monitor cooking time as it turns brown quickly.



Can you make gravy with it?

Yes 



Why do you suggest soaking it in buttermilk before cooking?

The buttermilk makes the flour stick and it gives the chicken a very moist texture. 



What are the spices in this flour?

The blend is proprietary information. If you have a particular spice you are allergic to, we can tell whether or not it is in the blend. It does not contain yeast or yeast derivatives. It doesn’t contain onion, pepper or garlic.
