No, it is a seed.

Why is your flax seed different?

We have a patented selection process for our flax to insure the best quality product. The seed is not heated during the milling process, keeping the product at ambient temperature. The quality of our product is unmatched. Fiber and oil benefits are all here.

What is the difference between brown and golden flax?

Brown and golden flax are nutritionally identical and may be interchanged in recipes. The Golden Flax is organic.

Will this affect any medication I am taking?

We do not offer medical advice. Please check with your health professional.

What if I am taking omega-3 oil capsules in other forms? Would I still be able to use Milled Flax seed in my diet?

Check with your health professional to see what is best for you.

No.

What happens if I do not refrigerate it?

The natural oils in flax are best kept cool or cold. Rancidity is a possibility if it is not stored properly.
